RULES AND POLICIES

Permitted and Prohibited Items

All spectators, workers and volunteers attending the CPKC Women’s Open are subject to search prior to entering the tournament grounds. All carry-on bags, purses, fanny packs, etc. will be subject to inspection.

PERMITTED ITEMS

• No bags larger than a small purse 6 x 6 including carrying cases, backpacks, camera bags or chair bags
• Clear plastic, vinyl or other carry items not exceeding 12 x 6 x 12
• A one gallon clear re-sealable plastic bag
• Reusable plastic or metal cups/bottles that are empty upon entry and exit, and cannot hold more than 32-ounces
• A single, unopened bottle of water per person
• At the tournaments discretion, food may enter the Tournament in a clear plastic bag not to exceed the size of a one (1) gallon clear resealable plastic bag
• Mobile phones, tablets, and PDA’s – MUST be on Silent mode
• Still camera with lens smaller than 6 inches; no case (During Practice Rounds Only)
• Umbrellas without sleeve
• Portable radios with headsets
• Medically necessary supplies, strollers, small diaper bags, plastic baby bottles, and other necessary baby supplies (infant must be with carrier) – items subject to search
• Collapsible chairs without chair bags
• Binoculars without case

PROHIBITED ITEMS

• No bags larger than a small purse 6 x 6 including carrying cases, backpacks, camera bags or chair bags
• No clear plastic, vinyl, or other carry items larger than 12 x 6 x 12
• No computers or laptops
• No fireworks or laser pointers
• No lawn or oversize chairs, seat cushions, or bicycles
• No pets, except for service animals
• No knives, firearms or weapons of any nature
• No video cameras (All Week)
• No cameras (During Competition Rounds)
• No beverages (patrons may not bring in or exit with beverages) or coolers
• No radios or TVs
• No posters, signs or banners
• Noise producing devices
• Metal-spiked golf shoes
• Unmanned aircrafts (drones, etc.)
• Any other items deemed unlawful, dangerous, inappropriate, or disruptive by the LPGA and/or tournament site security personnel, in their sole discretion.

Smoking Policy

Smoking, vaping and cannabis will be permitted on-site ONLY in designated areas and in accordance with Federal and Provincial laws. Smoking in tented areas, patios or enclosed public spaces, are prohibited.

Security and police services will have the right to eject any person(s) found in violation of the policy at the discretion of the tournament.

Re-entry Policy

All general admissions guests will be allowed to leave and re-enter the grounds by obtaining a non-transferable wristband upon exit.

Hospitality Guests will be allowed to re-enter at any time using their non-transferable hospitality wristband.

Weather

The LPGA provides an on-site meteorologist for the duration of the tournament to monitor possible incoming inclement weather. In the event of an approaching storm special ‘weather warning’ signs will be posted on electronic scoreboards and in the bleachers around the course. Bleachers must be cleared at this time. The sound of a siren or claxon indicates that play is suspended, and the course will be cleared. At this stage close umbrellas and seek shelter. If the storm persists spectator should return to their cars. Avoid the following areas:

• Open areas
• Hilltops and high places
• Isolated trees
• Golf carts
• Wire fencing
• Sky boxes, bleachers or grandstands

Play occurs rain or shine as long as weather is not severe and playing conditions are deemed playable by tournament officials.

Code of Conduct

To ensure a positive experience for all fans and players, the following Championship Code of Conduct will be enforced at all times. Fans will be subject to expulsion and loss of ticket privileges for the following breaches of etiquette:

• Making rude, vulgar, or other inappropriate comments or gestures
• Verbal or physical harassment of players, volunteers, officials, or fans
• Yelling and/or distracting a player or any disruption of play or fan environment
• Inappropriate use of a mobile device
• Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, unsafe, or illegal in nature
• Failing to stay behind gallery ropes
• Refusal to follow the instructions of championship officials, volunteers, or security personnel

Etiquette

If you observe the following guidelines, your experience at the CPKC Women’s Open will be a more enjoyable one:

• Please stay behind gallery ropes and follow directions of championship marshals at all times.
• Do not cross fairways except at designated crosswalk areas.
• Be considerate of others and kneel or sit if you are in the front row of the gallery and able
• Stay quiet and stand still when players are about to hit or when instructed by marshals.
• All mobile device volume controls must be set to silent or vibrate at all times.
• To ensure your safety at all times, walk carefully and never run.
• The CPKC Women’s Open involves substantial walking on grass, hills, dirt paths, and other uneven surfaces. Please wear appropriate footwear such as sneakers or golf shoes.
• Drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration.
• To provide protection from the sun, remember to wear sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses. Please note that sunscreen in bottles and tubes, 3 ounces or less is permitted. Sunscreen in spray bottles and/or aerosol cans is not permitted.
• Dispose of plastic bottles, aluminum, and other paper waste in blue recycle containers. Dispose of other non-recyclable trash in green bags.

Mobile Devices

While staying in touch with family and friends and capturing your on-site experience is encouraged, use of a mobile device should not disrupt players or play during the Championship.  All volume controls must be set to “silent” or “vibrate” and flash photography must be disabled. Phone calls should be limited to areas away from play and not in any area that may disrupt play, including grandstands. Photography, video, and audio recording are permitted throughout the course, but content must not be used for commercial purposes nor can it disrupt play. No live streaming or shot-by-shot coverage (with or without video) is permitted.

Violation of the above policy may result in immediate expulsion and loss of ticket privileges for the remainder of the championship.
